Just For Today

The three things I try to share with newcomers are:

1. We only have to live today. Over the years, I have learned it is okay to plan actions, just not predict results.

2. Alcoholism is a disease and just because the person may act crazy does not necessarily mean they are. (It was many years later when I heard the 3 Cs, I add a fourth - Cope).

How much can be said for our sanity, when we continue to stay in the situation?

3. The unwritten Promise -- You never have to be alone.

It has taken me many 24 hours, but I try and often succeed, in keeping it simple.
